Somewhere someone is pulling a carbon fiber-soled Sidi out of his mouth and wiping the chamois-butter off his lips right about now. . .
Here's to the 'new' cycling!
Hats off, straws and razor blades out!

Salomon Regains Its Euro Edge
Salomon XA Pro, my favorite shoe for non-bike offroad activities, urban hiking, and travel. Well ventilated, comfortable, speed lacing system that actually works and holds its adjustment, long-wearing soles and sturdy enough to use as an approach shoe or for any outings that require long periods of walking, standing, or humping gear (like sandbags, etc when heading to the pullup bar at the local park to TRX).
Thumbs up. And a second thumbs up for bringing the loud neon colors back into the XA Pro line after several years of more neutral, organic offerings. You'll feel faster in neon yellow shoes, it's the color of lightning and cream of wheat.
